Originally built in 1913, this Arts and Crafts bungalow has been reborn as an eco-sustainable vacation rental in Los Angeles. We stripped layers of renovations and additions and restored the original details to create an environment that showcases the eclectic style and comfort of So Cal beach living. In the master bathroom we used a combination of new and restored materials to return a timeless style but enhance it with a spa-like feel. In the kitchen we removed outdated floor tiles, then updated the countertop, backsplash and finishing details to give make it warm and inviting. Fresh paint and refinished floors throughout brought the entire canvas to life. We then outfitted the house with a carefully curated selection of furnishings, decor and art from local artisans and artists, vintage dealers, and eco-concious vendors.
