Light, bright and eclectic for a Mission-style bungalow.

Built in 1928, this So Cal home showcases many original details, including hardwood floors, exposed beams, and wrought iron chandeliers and fixtures. Having recently relocated from a dimly-lit row home in the Northeast, the owners were eager to embrace the more vibrant aesthetics of classic So Cal design. The goal was to create a bright, inviting environment that incorporated vintage and antique pieces from the owners’ original collection. A fresh coat of paint was the first order of business, and then an update to the tiles and fixtures in the main bathroom. With the addition of some pops of color, plant life, textiles, and artwork, the result is an eclectic, relaxed blend of classic and modern styles that flow together seamlessly to create a timeless living space.
